Britney does her bit for the Haiti earthquake donating a dress

Britney Spears has donated a dress to help out Haitian earthquake victims, doing her part for the cause to raise money to help the victims.

A court commissioner approved a request allowing the singer to donate the dress she wore to the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards so it can be auctioned in aid of the disaster.

The court’s permission was needed because the pop singer remains under a court-ordered conservatorship – her father Jamie, who will oversee the donation, controls his 28-year-old daughter’s personal and financial affairs, acting as her manager.
