“Big Bang Theory” star Penny, real name Kaley Cuoco has got engaged to longterm boyfriend Josh Resnik.

The proposal reportedly took place at home where Resnik popped the question, according to People.

“The surprise proposal took place during a quiet date night at home,” a rep told the publication.

“The couple are very happy and excited to begin planning their wedding.”

Previously Kaley Cuoco was in a relationship for two years with co-star Johnny Galecki, but then ended it in 2009.

Penny had also been previously temporarily written out of The Big Bang Theory following a horseback riding accident which left her with a broken leg.

Reports suggest that Nicole Scherzinger and Lewis Hamilton have split up.

The split has been put down to both of their busy schedules, after four years together, the Formula 1 driver and former Pussycat Doll are thought to have broken up due to “unworkable” schedules.

“Of late, their schedules have proven pretty unworkable and they have not been able to see as much of one another as they would have liked.

“They still speak on the phone but this isn’t the same as face-to-face contact and things have been rough for the past six weeks. Both want it to work but it’s fair to say things are rocky. But they have rowed before and worked things out.

“As far as both are concerned, there is still hope.”

Lewis is often travelling around the world racing for the McLaren Formula 1 team, while Nicole – who rose to fame as a singer in girl group Pussycat Dolls – is based in Los Angeles, California, and works as a judge on TV talent show US ‘X Factor’.

In July there were unconfirmed rumours the pair were engaged – and the sportsman recently said he wasn’t planning to have a baby with the pop star due to concerns it would turn him into a less “risky” Formula 1 driver.

When asked if he has any plans to have kids, he explained: “I’m still young and I’m not in that position yet. It’s a long way away.

“I think being slightly more risky in some ways is what separates the faster drivers from maybe the not-so-faster drivers.”

Popstar Hilary Duff is pregnant with her first baby boy with husband Mike Comrie. This will be first first child with husband Comrie.

On Ellen’s TV talk show Hilary Duff said “I haven’t told anyone yet. I wanted to tell you first. I just found out. It’s a boy! I had a feeling it was a boy the whole time.”

The pair admitted that they had initially cried after discovering that Duff was over four months into her pregnancy, although Comrie was initially sceptical that she was carrying a baby.

Ever since the announcement that Beyonce was pregnant there has been much speculation surrounding it. It all began during an interview with an Australian chat show that she was on.

After the show was aired rumours began to circulate that the bump might not be real as a few shots where she is sitting down appeared to squash the bump.

But the worldside superstar became so outraged by the rumours that she has decided to put the gossip down herself.

Revealing she is due to give birth in February, she added that being pregnant had ‘change her life’ and she was ‘so happy’ at the prospect of becoming a mother.

Sir Paul McCartney married New York heiress Nancy Shevell on Sunday, raising his bride’s hand in triumph as he walked down the steps after they became husband and wife at a simple civil ceremony attended by close family and friends, including drummer Ringo Starr and TV journalist Barbara Walters, a second cousin of the bride.

Statement given by Michael Jackson’s bodyguard Alberto Alvarez was told by Conrad Murray to grab vials of medicine and a saline bag the morning that the star died, a court has heard.

‘While I was standing at the foot of the bed he [Murray] reached over and grabbed a handful of vials and then he said ‘‘Here, put them in a bag’’,’ Mr Alvarez said on the third day of Murray’s trial for involuntary manslaughter.

Bodyguard Alberto Alvarez was the first person to reach Jackson’s bedroom after his doctor called for help.

He also saw a ‘milky white substance’ in the saline pouch that Murray asked him to stash into a bag – moments before an ambulance was called to his Los Angeles home.

Mr Alvarez, testifying for the prosecution, said Murray then pointed towards an intravenous stand by Jackson’s bed and told him to grab one of the saline bags and take it away.

Prosecutors say the milky substance was the surgical anaesthetic propofol, which authorities have deemed to be the principal cause of Jackson’s death on June 25, 2009.

Murray admits giving the 50-year-old star propofol as a sleep aid but denies involuntary manslaughter. The 58-year-old could face up to four years in prison if convicted.

Jackson ‘was laying on his back, with his hands extended out… his eyes were slightly open and his mouth was open’, Mr Alvarez said. As he followed Murray into the bedroom, two of the singer’s children also followed.

‘Prince and Paris came behind me,’ he said. ‘Paris screamed out ‘‘Daddy”.

Mr Alvarez then said Murray told him Jackson had had a ‘bad reaction’ and that he saw the doctor giving the singer chest compressions with one hand.
Mr Alvarez noticed the IV stand, oxygen tubing around Jackson’s nose and a device attached to his penis that he later learned is used to collect urine while a person is sleeping.

Asked about Jackson the night before he died, Mr Alvarez said: ‘He was very happy. I do recall he was in very good spirits.’

Pop singer Lady Gaga has been left extreme distraught after it emerged that one of her gay fans had comitted suicide last Sunday after enduring years of torment about his sexuality from classmates.

Lady Gaga has set up a meeting with Barack Obama with the aim of petitioning the US leader to create a legislation which makes bullying at any age a crime.

In a series of tweets, she wrote: “The past days I’ve spent reflecting, crying, and yelling. I have so much anger. It is hard to feel love when cruelty takes someones life.

Jamey Rodemeyer was found dead outside his home in Williamsville, New York. The 14 year old was a victim of constant bullying. Lady Gaga said she would not rest until bullying was made a crime in America.

The 25-year-old rallied tirelessly against the American military’s ‘don’t ask, don’t tell’ policy – which banned members of the US armed forces from being openly gay – before it was finally repealed this week.

Distressed, Gaga tweeted: ‘I am meeting with our President. I will not stop fighting. This must end. Our generation has the power to end it. Trend it #MakeALawForJamey,’ adding: ‘The past days I’ve spent reflecting, crying, and yelling. I have so much anger. It is hard to feel love when cruelty takes someone’s life. Bullying must become be illegal. It is a hate crime.’

Jamey, who is the latest of a number of gay teenagers in the US to commit suicide, recently recorded a video revealing the abuse he’d been subjected to but said he had found help.

‘People would just keep sending me hate, telling me that gay people go to hell,’ he said in May in a YouTube message for the It Gets Better campaign.

Classmates at his high school taunted Rodemeyer with homophobic and nasty comments in the months before his suicide.

Jamey said his parents, Tracy and Tim, had supported him and that he had received counselling following the abuse.
The scale of the taunts was revealed when cowards anonymously posted messages on his postings on the Formspring networking website.

One bully wrote: ‘I wouldn’t care if you died. No one would. So just do it It would make everyone WAY more happier!’
In the weeks leading up his death, Jamey wrote: ‘I always say how bullied I am, but no one listens. What do I have to do so people will listen to me?’

In a string of final posts at the weekend, he paid tribute to his hero Lady Gaga and said he was looking forward to seeing his late great-grandmother.

After he was found dead, his father said: ‘He fooled everybody. He put on a brave face and I wish he wouldn’t have.’

Scarlett Johansson is the latest Hollywood celebrity to have had naked photos of her leaked onto various blogs online. The lawyer for Scarlett Johansson has spoken out saying that Scarlett Johansson owns the ‘stolen copyright protected private photographs.’ But he neither confirmed or denied that the photos were indeed of his client Scarlett Johansson.

Shortly after the photo’s had been discovered by the actress, it is understood that the FBI had been called to investigate the leak. US Gossip site TMZ reported that Scarlett Johansson’s lawyer threatened consequences if the images were not removed from sites.

In March this year, TMZ reported that up to 50 Hollywood female stars have had their phones hacked for nude photos and it has now emerged that Friends With Benefits star Mila Kunis could be the next victim.

The jailed ex husband of Amy Winehouse, Blake Fielder-Civil has had a ban placed on him attending the funeral of Amy by her father Mitch, which is scheduled to take place today. The ceremony is a private affair with on family and close friends present.

A further blow has been dealt to Blake as not only is he banned from the funeral to pay his final respects, it is believed that Amy has left him out of her £10million will to avoid him getting his claws on any of her money following their split in 2009.

In June, Blake was jailed for 32 months for burglary and possession of an imitation firearm. However if he had not been banned from the funeral Armley prison in Leeds is not granting him compassionate leave to attend.

It is believed Mitch, who yesterday visited Amy’s north London home with her family to read tributes left for his daughter, is keeping Blake, 29, away because he blames the former filming assistant for his daughter’s addiction to drugs.

A source told The Sun: ‘Mitch thinks it would be a complete insult for him to be there and if he really loved Amy, he wouldn’t cause any more heartache by showing up.

‘He will always believe Blake is responsible for getting his daughter hooked on Class A drugs which marked the beginning of her self-destruction.’

The pair were married for two years but split in 2009 following a succession of heated rows.
But despite rumours circulating that Amy would have left the majority of her fortune to him, today it has emerged that he won’t be receiving a penny.

Her fortune is said to be over £10million, despite the Sunday Times Rich List estimating it as £6million in April this year.
A source told the Daily Mail: ‘Around the time of the divorce, all of Amy’s finances were sorted out and Blake can’t get is hands on any of it.

‘I am pretty sure that Amy does have a will. As a matter of course with record contracts, financial advisors will make sure that is done.’

Amy’s assets are instead likely to be split between her immediate family – her mother Janis, father Mitch and brother Alex.
The Rehab singer’s family and close friend will attend her funeral today at a north London cemetery at 3pm before her body is cremated at Golders Green.

An inquiry into her death was opened yesterday but the cause of death has not yet been given and police have admitted it could take up to four weeks.

A spokesman for the family said: ‘The funeral will take place on Tuesday and will be a family and close friends affair.’
Meanwhile, it has been reported that Amy’s ashes are to be mixed with her grandmother Cynthia’s, who died in 2006 to lung cancer.

The talented signer was very close to her gran, who dated jazz legend Ronnie Scott, and she even had her name tattooed on her arm.

A friend said: ‘The family discussed mixing Amy’s ashes with Cynthia’s and scattering them together. They were incredibly close, it feels like the right thing to do.’

Singer Sean Kingston has been transferred from the trauma unit to the intensive care unit at a Miami hospital where he is in a ‘stable’ condition after crashing his jet-ski into a Miami Beach bridge.

The 21-year-old has been stabilised and moved to the intensive care unit at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, his publicist has said.

The Beautiful Girls singer was on the jet-ski with a female passenger as his watercraft hit Palm Island Bridge.
Both were injured after the crash.

Jonathan Rivera, who by chance was a member of the Coast Guard, and friend Jimmy Vega were in a boat nearby and jumped into the water to help save the pair.

Kingston was ‘extremely dazed’ and ‘convulsing and throwing up blood’, according to his rescuers.

Rivera told TMZ they were called over to the scene by a man and a woman on another jet-ski, who were struggling to keep Kingston’s head above water as his life jacket had come off in the crash.

Officials are investigating the cause of the crash, although alcohol as an influence seems to have been ruled out.

‘Nothing at this point would indicate that alcohol played a role,’ said Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission spokesman Jorge Pino.

A number of celebrities including Rihanna, Nicki Minaj and Justin Bieber have posted a message of support for Kingston on micro-blogging site Twitter.

Bieber, who collaborated on the song Eenie Meenie with Kingston, and toured with him last year tweeted: ‘Got my friend Sean Kingston in my prayers tonight. A true friend and big bro. Please keep him in your prayers tonight as well.’

Rihanna wrote ‘Sean we praying for u baby.’

Kingston’s publicist said that his family is grateful for everyone’s prayers and support.

The Jamaican/American singer rose to fame with Beautiful Girls in 2007, and has since scored hits like Take You There, Fire Burning and Letting Go (Dutty Love) with Nicki Minaj.
